HP Noodle House PHO Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup Review (Price: $14.50 for Large Size)
The HP Noodle House PHO Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup price is $13.50 for regular size or $14.50 for large size. We went with the large size. It comes with uncooked bean sprouts, basil leaves and a small piece of lemon. You put the bean sprouts and basil leaves in the hot soup so that it cooks. You also squeeze the lemon wedge so that the juice goes into the soup.
The HP Noodle House PHO Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup is not really the Chinese Satay flavour. Instead, its just primarily spicy. The soup noodles include rare beef, beef balls, beef tripe and well-done beef. There are also green onions too. The soup was flavourful and not bad.
HP Noodle House Signature Platter Review (Price: $19)
The HP Noodle House Signature Platter Appetizer contains 1 crispy shrimp spring roll, 1 crispy chicken spring roll, 1 shrimp and pork salad roll, 1 BBQ pork salad roll, 4 crispy shrimp wontons and 4 crispy calamari. The price for this appetizer shareable dish is $19. Three sauces are included and they are Vietnamese fish sauce (for crispy items), peanut sauce (for salad rolls) and sweet chili Thai sauce (for crispy items).
The salad rolls had vermicelli noodles and vegetables as well. The crispy rolls had some taro which was a little weird. The wontons had shrimp inside which were pretty good. Overall, it was quite a bit of food to sample. Great for sharing!
Overall, HP Noodle House offers solid food at reasonable neighbourhood friendly prices. The restaurant was clean and modern inside too.
