We only took two pages of the Bún Riêu Phương Nam Vietnamese menu but they have more items. Below is the appetizer menu. They have items like spring rolls (Cha Gio), Shrimp Salad Roll (Goi Cuon), Fried Squid Cake, Fried Fish Cake, Deep Fried Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings and more.
This is the Bún Riêu Phương Nam PHO Noodle Soup menu. The PHO noodles are priced pretty well. for $13.95, you can get a large bowl of noodle soup which is pretty good! Its like the price at food court except this is served in a restaurant.
Bún Riêu Phương Nam Deep Fried Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings Appetizer (Price: $13.95)
We started off first with the Bún Riêu Phương Nam Deep Fried Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings. Price for this is $13.95. There were about 8 deep fried chicken wings. There was lots of garlic and green onions on top of the chicken wings. The chicken wings were quite crispy and had a good seasoning mix too. It is served with some lamb juice with black pepper.
Bún Riêu Phương Nam House Special Crab Meat Soup Vermicelli Noodles (Price: $15.95 for Large Bowl)
Their most popular and famous item is probably the Bún Riêu Phương Nam House Special Crab Meat Soup Vermicelli Noodles. It contains crab meat, tomatoes, shrimp, tofu puff, green onions and cilantro. On the side, they have blanched bean sprouts, peppermint leaves and lime wedge. You can put these in the soup. The soup was well flavoured.
This House Special Crab Meat Noodle Soup is not commonly seen in many Vietnamese restaurants in Greater Vancouver. It is a little bit different than the traditional PHO noodle soups. Price for a large bowl is $15.95. I definitely recommend trying this when your here. They serve it pretty fast too. The soup noodles come out from the kitchen in a very short amount of time.
Bún Riêu Phương Nam Deep Fried Spring Rolls Cha Gio Appetizer (Price: $3.95 for 2 Piece Combo Deal)
The Bún Riêu Phương Nam Deep Fried Spring Rolls Cha Gio Appetizer is normally sold at four pieces at $8.95. However, we ordered the House Special Crab Meat Soup Vermicelli Noodles and was able to only add an extra $3.95 for two pieces of the spring roll. They contain pork, taro, mushroom, carrots and vermicelli noodles. They are not wrapped in the traditional Vietnamese rice paper but instead with the Chinese version spring roll wrappers. It is served with some fish sauce too. These taste not bad especially with the taro instead. A great snack to go with the soup noodles.
Overall, the food was pretty good especially the soup noodles. You can’t go wrong with their soup noodles as they are priced well. It can get busy on the weekends during lunch hours though.
