As we went mid-afternoon around 2:30pm, they had some afternoon team special menu item deals. Basically, in Western cuisine, its known as Happy Hour.

The Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Street Appetizer Platter contains Fish Balls, Fish Spring Rolls, Fried Fish Siu Mai, Red Sausage. You can also choose Spicy or Non-Spicy Satay Sauce. We with non-spicy satay sauce. These taste pretty good and had a good amount of flavour. Great for sharing. Price for it is $8.49 which is the afternoon tea special price. This item includes a free drink.
Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Crunchy Toast Dices Review (Price: $7.79)
The Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Crunchy Toast Dices comes with Peanut Butter, Condensed Milk, Pork Floss & Ovaltine Crunch. They are essentially mini deep fried French Toast bread that are cut up into small bite size square pieces. These make a great snack and is awesome for sharing. The afternoon tea time special price for this is $7.79. There is a free drink included with this item.
Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Baked Pork Chop Rice with Tomato Ketchup Sauce Review (Price: $10.79)
Outside of the afternoon tea time special items, we also ordered the Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Baked Pork Chop Rice with Tomato Ketchup Sauce. This has a bed of white steam rice. On top, there’s deep fried pork chop that’s mixed with ketchup tomato sauce. There’s a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top. It is then baked to perfection. Its a little bit of a disappointment that the rice underneath this dish is just white steamed rice. Usually, baked pork chop rice have fried rice with eggs underneath. Price for this is $10.79. A complimentary drink is included.
Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Hainanese Chicken Rice with Soup Review (Price: $10.95)
The Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Hainanese Chicken Rice with Soup price is $10.95. It includes boneless Hainanese chicken, steamed rice and that is cooked with chicken oil sauces. There’s two slices of small cucumbers. The sauces include ginger oil, spicy Thai sauce, sweet soy sauce and some pickled mustard leaves. The soup was only ok and was nothing too special. But the chicken in this dish was awesome especially with all the sauces. We saw a lot of other tables order this Hainanese Chicken Rice too. This item is also outside of the Afternoon tea time specials but it does include a free drink as well.
Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Restaurant Hot & Cold HK Style Milk Tea Review (Price: Complimentary with Meals)
With the four dishes that we ordered, they came with free hot drinks. For an extra $1.25, you can upgrade the hot drink to a cold drink. We got two hot Hong Kong style milk tea and two cold Hong Kong style milk tea.
The hot milk tea comes in a pretty big cup. You can add some sugar to it for sweetness.
The cold milk tea were not filled to the top. We asked them for less ice and they really cheapened out on filling this up. However, both the cold and hot milk tea had a rich and good amount of tea flavour. They are very good.
Overall, Cafe De Hong Kong 良心冰室 Markham Toronto offers some great Hong Kong style menu food items. It is quite tasty but be prepared to wait in line for dining in at the restaurant.
