This is the Congee Queen 皇后名粥 Storefront at Heartland Town Centre Mississauga in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It looks pretty clean, nice and modern.

They put a sheet of paper on your table for each person so that you eat on top of it. On the piece of paper, there’s the digital menu and various bubble tea drinks.

The Congee Queen 皇后名粥 Deep Fried Chinese Cruller Rice Noodle Roll price is $5.75. These taste really good as the Deep Fried Chinese Cruller is hot inside. This means they fried it fresh. You also get some dipping sauces like peanut sauce and hoisin sauce. There’s also soy sauce that you pour in too. The Chinese Cruller was a little sweet and salty.

The Congee Queen 皇后名粥 Lai Wan Style Sampan Congee price is $8.25. It has peanuts, shredded lettuce and green onions garnishes on top.
Inside the congee, there’s various seafoods and meats. There’s even roasted BBQ duck inside which is pretty cool. The congee taste was not bad.
Congee Queen 皇后名粥 House Pad Thai Lunch Special Set Combo Review (Price: $17.75)
Congee Queen 皇后名粥 has lunch special combos available. They are available from Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm and excludes weekends and holidays. On a limited menu, the combo also includes soup, spring roll and boiled vegetables.
We got the Congee Queen 皇后名粥 House Pad Thai Lunch Special Set Combo for $17.75. However, they didn’t give us the boiled vegetables as shown on the pictures. We asked them for it and they said everything was on the plate already. We didn’t want to argue with them so we just let it be.
The Congee Queen 皇后名粥 House Pad Thai Lunch Special Set Combo has some Pad Thai that is Asian Thai Chinese fusion with orange flavour as well. There was shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts, peppers and more. The noodles were alright. You also get a spring roll and a small slice of orange. The soup was with some minced pork with egg.
Congee Queen 皇后名粥 House Pad Thai Lunch Special Set Combo was the most expensive item on the lunch special set menu. Other items were only around $13-15.
Overall, the food was decent but we felt we didn’t get our boiled vegetables from the Pad Thai combo. That dropped the ratings for this restaurant by a bit.
