Izumo Sushi is a small restaurant located at King George Center. I had a 75% off coupon from Uber Eats so I used the app to purchase the takeout a few days ago. Uber eats normally has higher prices than ordering directly from the restaurant. In addition, they also have delivery fees, Uber service charge fees and tips for the delivery driver.
I ordered two special rolls and a regular maki roll.
Bill’s Roll – Regular Maki Sushi ($5.49; Uber Eats – $5.49)
This roll contains tempura yam and avocado on the inside. On the outside, there is smoked salmon. There are 6 large pieces in this roll.
Tiger Roll – Special Sushi Roll ($9.49; Uber Eats $10.49)
This roll consists crab meat, avocado, cucumber and prawn tempura on the inside. On the outside, there’s ebi with spicy mayo and unagi sauce. There are 6 large pieces in this roll.
Crispy Onion Prince Roll – Special Sushi Roll ($10.49; Uber Eats – $11.49)
This roll contains marinated teriyaki beef. On the outside, there is crispy deep fried onions with teriyaki sauce and garlic sauce.
Overall, great sushi. I really enjoyed the Crispy Prince Onion Roll as the crispy onion fitted the sushi really well.
