Old Settler Pub Harrison Hot Springs Restaurant Exterior & Interior Review
This is the Old Settler Pub Harrison Hot Springs exterior. There is a big sign advertising the pub.
This is a closer look at the restaurant pub. I like how the style of the building is like made with wooden logs.
There’s the inside dining area as well as the patio. The patio is still enclosed and is at the same temperature as the dining area. We went with the patio. It was nice and spacious.
Old Settler Pub Harrison Hot Springs Restaurant Dinner Menu & Prices Review
This is the Old Settler Pub Harrison Hot Springs Restaurant Dinner Menu. On one side of the page, there are appetizers, entree salads, flat bread pizza, settler bowls and schnitzels.
On the back of the Old Settler Pub Harrison Hot Springs Restaurant menu, there’s fire grilled steaks, pub favourites, sandwiches and burgers. They also had some alcoholic drinks available too.
Old Settler Pub Long Island Iced Tea Alcohol Drink Review (Daily Special Price: $8)
The Old Settler Pub Long Island Iced Tea Alcohol Drink had some iced tea mixed with a bit of alcohol. It was a daily special item and was priced at $8 plus alcohol surcharge tax. The picture below is after we drank a bit of it. It taste not bad and was a light alcohol drink. After, we should have requested ours to have no ice as there was a lot of ice in it.
Old Settler Pub Strawberry Kiss Alcohol Drink Review (Price: $9)
The Old Settler Pub Strawberry Kiss Alcohol Drink contains some strawberry puree juice mixed with a little bit of alcohol. Price is $9 plus alcohol surcharge tax. The drink was pretty good and was fruity. Again, we wish we requested ours to have no ice in this drink.
Old Settler Pub Restaurant Appy Platter Review (Price: $20)
The Old Settler Pub Restaurant Appy Platter contains various appetizers. It can serve and feed 2-3 people. It contains 4 chicken wings in a flavour of your choice, four vegetable spring rolls, deep fried zucchini sticks, deep fried potatto wedges, deep fried onion rings and raw vegetable dips (contains carrots, celery and broccoli). The dressing included for dipping are plum and ranch sauces. There’s also ketchup too.
The Old Settler Pub Restaurant Appy Platter price is $20. This dish contains primarily vegetables with the exception of the chicken wings. Overall, great for sharing and getting your vegetable servings. There was nothing too special about this dish except that there’s just a variety of different foods.
Old Settler Pub Restaurant Steak Entree Review (Price: $32 + $6 Prawns)
The Old Settler Pub Restaurant Steak entree contains a 10oz New York Steak cooked the way you like it. Its priced at $32 You can choose the cooking style as blue rare, rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and well done. It comes with a baked potato, seasonal grilled vegetables and your choice of soup or salad. The server didn’t ask us about whether about the salad or soup so we just got salad. The pan-fried black tiger prawns cost an extra $6 to add on top of the steak. You get about five pieces of shrimp with the end of the shell on.
The baked potato was not bad and was cut in half so you can put the ranch sauce along with the bacon bits and green onions on it. We got our steak as well done but we probably should have went with medium well or medium. It was a little bit of a waste getting the steak well done as it was just like eating any other types of meats. The grilled vegetables were pretty good and were seasoned well. The salad was nothing too special but its good to get your vegetables intake.
The price for all this for dinner is $38 which is quite a little high but then its a steak entree so its normal.
Overall, its pub food that’s not bad. Its in a pretty good location as everyone going to Harrison Hot Springs would see the pub.
