This is another view of the storefront. Note that some of their items have been remade already so they just grab it at the front counter.
This is the Shiok Express Singapore Cuisine menu. There are appetizer snacks, main dishes, drinks and desserts. A quick look at the prices show that they are not too expensive.
Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Nasi Lemak Coconut Rice (Price: $12.95)
The Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Nasi Lemak comes with coconut rice with ikon bills, sambal chili, oak and deep fried chicken. There is also an egg as well. Price for this is $12.95 which is not bad.
The deep fried chicken was pretty good. The egg was just a regular hard boiled egg. There were also some dried anchovy with peanuts and cucumbers too.
However, I think they should have give more sambal chili as the container they gave is not even half full. Without the sambal chili, the dish is pretty dry. Perhaps, they should have scoop some and put it all over the dish. I think it would taste a lot better that way.
Overall, this dish was not the best.
Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Mee Siam Vermicelli Noodle Soup (Price: $12.95)
The Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Mee Siam Vermicelli Noodle Soup is in a spicy tamarind sauce. There’s also some shrimp, tofu and green onions too. An egg is also included. Price for this is $12.95. The soup was very delicious. Unfortunately, this is a really small serving. There’s very little food in there.
Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Bandung Iced Rose Milk Drink (Price: $3)
The Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Bandung Iced Rose Milk Drink price is $3. You get this cold milk with rose flavour. It was not a bad drink but it taste quite artificial. I requested mines to have no ice.
Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Chin Chow Iced Grass Jelly Drink (Price: $3)
The Shiok Express Lougheed Mall Food Court Chin Chow Iced Grass Jelly Drink contains some small pieces of grass jelly. The drink was quite refreshing. However, we recommend asking for no ice or less ice. This drink had a lot of ice.
Overall, the food was only ok at Shiok Express. However, its not too expensive. The Mee Siam soup noodle that we had was probably the best dish.
