Temaki Sushi Tuna Toro Sashimi Review (Price: $10 for 4 pieces or $18 for 8 pieces)
We ordered the 4 pieces of Temaki Sushi Tuna Toro Sashimi. Underneath it, there are some vegetables and noodles. The fish was quite fresh.
Temaki Sushi Chicken Karaage Appetizer Review (Price: $10)
Temaki Sushi Chicken Karaage features Japanese deep fried chicken served with chili mayo and a lemon wedge. Putting some lemon juice on top of the chicken makes it taste quite good. They are lightly battered and the chicken is quite fresh.
Temaki Sushi New York Tataki Appetizer (Price: $18)
Temaki Sushi New York Tataki Appetizer is thinly sliced rare New York Steak with ponzu and sesame sauces. The beef taste ok with the sauces.
Temaki Sushi Deep Fried California Roll (Price: $8)
Temaki Sushi Deep Fried California Roll is basically a California Roll (imitation crab, avocado and cucumber) that is deep fried. Chili mayo is then put on top of the roll. The roll was warm which is a bit different than the usual regular California Roll. The dressing was a nice touch. Each serving comes with 8 pieces.
Temaki Sushi Banzai Roll (Price: $12)
Temaki Sushi Banzai Roll comes with salmon, tuna, cucumber and masago. It is then deep fried and chili mayo is put on top. We requested ours to be without chili mayo. This feels quite similar to B.C. Roll but is deep fried. Each serving comes with 8 pieces.
Overall, it was quite an expensive meal for two people. Their prices are a bit marked up compared to other sushi chains like Sushi Garden, Sushi California and Sushi Town. But its in the affluent Kitsilano neighbourhood so things are definitely going to be more pricey.
