All About Pho Vietnamese Noodle House Restaurant Review (Surrey Central, BC)

I got takeout today at All About Pho Vietnamese Noodle House Restaurant in Surrey Central, BC. I ordered from the Uber Eats App as they are offering targeted new users/customers with 75% off for the first four order. Maximum discount is $20 so its best to order around $26.67. Though, one thing to note is that Uber App usually have menu prices that are higher than ordering from the restaurant. This is because restaurant usually charge a higher price through these apps because they have to pay a fee to Uber. For All About Pho, Uber App menu prices are about 10% higher than their in-restaurant menu prices.

For deliveries, the customer is also charged a delivery fee, Uber service charge fee and tips for the delivery driver. However, they do have pick-up option available where you can avoid all these extra fees involved.

I ordered three items for pick-up from the Uber App.

Deep Fried Spring Roll – Cha Gio ($3.85 on Uber App, $3.5 at Restaurant)

This spring roll wrap is similar to other spring roll wraps used in other cuisines like Chinese deep friend spring rolls. I think for Vietnamese spring rolls, they usually use rice wrapper for the spring rolls. However, it still taste pretty good with the fish sauce.

Grilled Chicken Sub – Banh Mi Ga Nuong ($8.79 on Uber App, $7.99 at Restaurant)

This was not bad. A hot toasted bun with warm grilled chicken. There’s also cilantro, cucumbers and carrots as well. Perfect for lunch.

Grilled Pork Slices and Minced Pork on Vermicelli – Bun Nem Thit Nuong ($15.68 on Uber App, $14.25 at Restaurant)

This is the main entrée dish. It comes with lettuce, cucumber, bean sprout, green onion, crushed peanuts and fish sauce. There’s some grilled pork slices and Vietnamese minced pork as well. This portion size would fill up a hungry person. I didn’t really like how the meat is charred/burnt, but that’s a personal preference thing.
