This is the Bona Fide BBQ Burnaby storefront along with the menu items and prices. They also have one item combo for $11.90 and two item combo for $13.90. These include your choice of a fried rice or noodle and meat/vegetable items.
I went around closing time when the mall was about to close. They had one item for $6, two items for $7, three items for $8 and large dish for $9/order. These are essentially half the price of what they normally charged!
Bona Fide BBQ Two Item Combo Review (Price: $7 – This is normally $13.90)
I got the Bona Fide BBQ Two Item Combo when the food court stall was about to close. This is normally priced at $13.90 but its on clearance sale for $7. Though, I didn’t really get much of a selection of the meats, vegetables or carbs. It was pretty much whatever was left. I got the fried rice with sweet and sour pork and stir-fried XO spicy sauce green beans. This was a really good at $7.
The sweet and sour pork was not bad for food court quality. Obviously, restaurant will taste better as the sweet and sour pork would still be slightly crispy. These were soggy but it still taste good.
I love the XO spicy sauce green beans. They taste really good. The fried rice was not bad and had some frozen vegetable mix.
Overall, it was a solid priced meal especially when you go when its about to close. I believe they start discounting the rice combos (excludes BBQ items) when its 15-30 minutes prior to closing.
