Cattle Cafe Hong Kong Restaurant used to have quite a few outlets in the Greater Vancouver, British Columbia area. However, many of them shut down and they are now left with only one location. They serve primarily causal fast Hong Kong Chinese Cantonese style cuisine. I went there during Happy Hour to take advantage of their special mini meals. Happy Hour runs from 3-5:30pm and 8:30pm to closing. Basically, they are hours that are typically not considered to be meal times. Hong Kong Cattle Cafe Baked Pork Chop in Tomato Sauce with Fried Rice Review (Happy Hour Price: $12.99 + $1.25 for basic cold drink)
The Cattle Cafe Baked Pork Chop in Tomato Sauce with Fried Rice contains fried rice with eggs. There is a deep fried pork chop cutlet that is placed on top of the rice. Tomatoes and onions are also added. After that, they put some tomato sauce onto the dish and bake it in the oven for a bit.
Here is a look at the fried rice with eggs underneath the tomato sauce. I really like this dish as it was very flavourful. At $12.99 during Happy Hour, you can’t really complain. It also comes with a hot drink. For an extra $1.25, you can get a cold drink. Most HK Chinese restaurants now charge anywhere from $15-$16 for this dish.

I request my milk tea to have no ice and less sugar. This taste like any typical Hong Kong style milk tea.

Overall, $12.99 for the Happy Hour mini Tomato Pork Chop with Fried Rice is a really good deal. Cattle Cafe restaurant is located across from the Metrotown mall at 4877 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC, V5H 4T2, Canada.
