Jin Jiang Shanghai Chinese Restaurant Turnip Cakes (Carrot Radish Pastry) Review (Price: $8.28)
The Jin Jiang Shanghai Chinese Restaurant Turnip Cakes (Carrot Radish Pastry) taste not bad. You can some soft shredded carrots inside and the pastry on the outside is fluffy. Though, there’s only three pieces in this dish and at $8.28, its quite pricey. Definitely not cheap.
Jin Jiang Shanghai Chinese Restaurant Xiao Long Bao (Steamed Shanghai Pork Dumplings) Review (Price: $8.28)
The Jin Jiang Shanghai Xiao Long Bao (Steamed Shanghai Pork Dumplings) taste pretty good. There’s soup and pork inside each dumpling. There are 6 pieces in a serving. Its served with some acidic sauce as well too.
Jin Jiang Shanghai Chinese Restaurant Pan Fried Pork Buns Review (Price: $8.28)
The Jin Jiang Shanghai Pan Fried Pork Buns is probably my favourite item at the restaurant. It features pork and soup inside a slightly crispy soft bun. There are 5 pieces in a serving. On the top, there’s some green onions as well.
Overall, an alright dim sum lunch. Its definitely not cheap here for dim sum. At the same time, its not crazy expensive either. Dim sum in an average place these days usually cost from $6-$8 now. Jin Jiang Shanghai Chinese Restaurant is located at 5411 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC, V5H 2G1, Canada. It is in the Metrotown Kingsway area.
