Congee Noodle King Sliced Fish & Pork Liver Congee Review (Price: $8)
The Congee Noodle King Sliced Fish & Pork Liver Congee Review contains fish and pork liver. We actually ordered pork slices but they gave us pork liver instead. There’s also some green onions and salted peanuts at the top. The congee was not too watery but not too dense either. It was just perfect and there was a nice amount of flavour in the congee. Price for this is $8 which is quite reasonable.
Congee Noodle King Deep Fried Chinese Donut Review (Price: $2.75)
To eat our congee, we paired it up with the Congee Noodle King Salted Chinese Donut. This deep fried Chinese donut basically just contains flour but is quite crispy and good. Price for this is $2.75. It goes well with the congee.
Congee Noodle King Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup Review (Price: $8.75)
We also got the Congee Noodle King Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup. Price for this is $8.75. There were 5 large pieces of shrimp wonton. The wonton had a lot of shrimp and some pork meat inside and was quite good. The noodles was alright. If you like the wontons, you can also just order the wonton soup version where it has more wontons but no noodles.
Congee Noodle King Chicken & Chinese Mushroom Chow Mein Stir-Fried Noodle Review (Price: $14.95)
The Congee Noodle King Chicken & Chinese Mushroom Chow Mein Stir-Fried Noodle contains noodles that were deep fried. The noodles were quite crispy. Stir-fried bok choy vegetables, sliced chicken and Chinese mushroom along with the sauce is then poured over the crispy noodles. This was a delicious dish and the serving was a decent size. Price for this is $14.95.
Overall, prices were reasonable at Congee Noodle King. However, during busy periods like lunch hours, you may have to wait a little before getting a table.
