Dominion Bar + Kitchen restaurant opened not too long ago and is still relatively new in the Surrey Central neighbourhood. It serves primarily Western dishes and is a great place for socializing and dining out at the same time. The location is at the Civic Plaza and the entrance is next to the Civic Plaza Hotel as well. Dominion Bar + Kitchen Thai-Style Mussels & Frites Review (Price: $18)
The Dominion Bar + Kitchen Thai-Style Mussels & Frites tasted pretty good. The sauce where the mussels were cooked taste really good. It contains Thai basil, shallots and coconut curry sauce. The fries were large chunks and was quite fresh. It is served with mayo instead of ketchup. Price is $18. Though, some people may still be hungry after this as there’s probably not too much meat in the mussels as most of it is the shell. On the menu, it does claim you get 1/2 lb of BC mussels. Great for small eaters though.
Dominion Bar + Kitchen Rigatoni Pasta & Meatballs Review (Price: $21)
The Dominion Bar + Kitchen Rigatoni Pasta & Meatballs was a decent size portion. You get a garlic bread ciabatta slice and three meatballs. The pasta (Rigatoni noodles) was pretty good too. It was mixed with house-made spicy zesty Italian tomato sauce and shaved parmesan cheese. Price is $21. The food was presented quite nicely.
