Hei Hei Rice Roll 囍記腸粉 Food Court Storefront & Menu

This is the Hei Hei Rice Roll 囍記腸粉 Food Court Storefront along with their menus. They have a waiting number at the top so that you know when your order is ready. When we were here on a Sunday at around 11:30am, we waited for about 30-45 minutes for them to make the steamed rice rolls.

They have two different styles of how you want your steamed rice rolls to be wrapped. You can choose either the new method which is where they put the protein fillings outside. Alternatively, you can choose the old style where they wrap the fillings.

 

Hei Hei囍記腸粉 Steamed Rice Roll Beef, Pork & Shrimp (Price: $8.5) and Osmanthus Wine & Fermented Rice Soy Milk (Price: $4.99)

This is the packaging for the Hei Hei囍記腸粉 Steamed Rice Roll Beef, Pork & Shrimp (Three Treasures) and Osmanthus Wine & Fermented Rice Soy Milk. You get soy sauce which you can pour over the rice rolls. They also gave us free chili sauce too.

The steamed rice rolls were freshly made. I believe they stone grind the rice to make the steamed rice rolls. They are very thin and tasty. There was pork, beef and shrimp inside. Price is $8.50 which is a little bit more on the expensive side considering its at the food court. I also tried the Osmanthus Wine & Fermented Rice Soy Milk. Its basically soy milk and they put some Osmanthus Wine & Fermented Rice. It was really sweet. I think if the soy milk did not have sugar, it would have been fine as the Osmanthus Wine & Fermented Rice has sugar already.

Overall, the steamed rice rolls taste pretty good. But its definitely not on the cheap side. Hei Hei Rice Roll 囍記腸粉 is located at 2430-8260 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC, V6X 1A7, Canada. It is at the Richmond Public Market food court.
