Skip the Dishes sent me an offer where I could get $7 off $20 or more. As such, I decided to get to get Neptune Wonton Noodle House in Surrey. Neptune Wonton Noodle House is part of Neptune Group. Neptune Group also has dim sum seafood restaurant as well. They have quite a few Neptune Wonton Noodle House and Neptune Seafood Restaurant locations in Greater Vancouver. For this Neptune Wonton Noodle House, it was also attached to Neptune Seafood Restaurant. Below is our review of this restaurant.
Neptune Wonton Noodle House Menu & Prices 2021 (Surrey Central Mall)
Here is the Neptune Wonton Noodle House menu and prices. If you order directly from Neptune itself, you can get 10% off when you spend $40 or more. This excludes seafood, set menu deals, liquor and special items (menu food items with special symbols).
On one side of the menu, it has set menu, snacks, rice noodle, special family dinner, beef and B.B.Q. food items.
Here is the other side of the menu. It has items like congee, soup, fried noodle, noodle in soup, tossed noodle, chicken & duck, seafood and pork.
Neptune Wonton Noodle House Fish Maw & Crab Meat Soup (Price: $12.93)
This is the Neptune Wonton Noodle House Fish Maw & Crab Meat Soup small portion. Price was $12.93 for the small portion. It can typically up to 2 people with the small serving. The large casserole soup serving for this cost $25.98.
There was a lot of fish maw in this soup. However, there wasn’t really much crab meat. Though, I believe it is real crab meat and isn’t imitation crab meat as I bit into some crab shells. There’s also some egg whites in the soup as well. There wasn’t much soup flavour but that’s expected. Usually for these types of soups, they just put some msg.
Neptune Wonton Noodle House Shrimp Spring Roll Deep Fried Dim Sum (Price: $7.98)
The other item that I got is the Neptune Wonton Noodle House Deep Fried Shrimp Spring Roll Dim Sum. It cost $7.98. This item is quite similar to the item that they also serve at Neptune Seafood Restaurant. The only difference I believe is that the Neptune Wonton Noodle House version gives you plum sauce instead of the other sauce at Neptune Seafood Restaurant.
This dim sum serving comes with 4 shrimp spring rolls. They were crispy even when I bought it home as they cut a hole in the container so that air can get in. There was quite a bit of shrimp inside as well. I think it would have been nice if they added garlic in there too but this still taste alright without garlic.
Neptune Wonton Noodle House Receipt & Prices 2021 (Skip the Dishes Order)
Below is the Skip the Dishes App order receipt. These two menu items that I ordered on there were not marked up. They were the same price as ordering from Neptune directly. Usually, food delivery/pickup apps usually have menu prices that are 10-20% higher due to the heavy fees that restaurants get charged from the app.
Neptune prices are usually more on the higher end. It was nice that I got $7 off from Skip the Dishes as it makes their prices a lot more reasonable.
