The Starbucks.ca website currently has a coupon offer where you can get Buy 1 Get 1 Free on any handcrafted that is Grande or larger. Valid from December 8-14, 2020. Excludes hot brewed coffee or tea, Starbucks Reserve beverages and ready-to-drink beverages.
I got the Chimichurri Chicken Sandwich, Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino (Grande size) and Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino (Grande size). The takeout packaging is packed nicely. They have a cardboard tray hold the drinks and then they put it in a Starbucks bag.

Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino (Grande Size) – $5.65
This is a limited time holiday special drink. It contains milk, ice, 3 pumps of Frappuccino Roast Coffee, 3 pumps of Mocha Sauce and 2 pumps of Peppermint Syrup. It also comes with whip cream and chocolate curls at the top. I ordered mines with no whip cream though. The taste for this was not bad.
Venti size (709ml) is usually a better deal cause its only $5.95 while the Grande size is $5.65 (473ml). However, I wanted to try two different drink flavours so I got the Grande size instead. Plus, its BOGO free and I can’t really drink 2 Venti size!
Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino (Grande Size) – $5.65
This is also a limited time only drink as well. It contains ice, milk, 3 pumps Frappuccino Roast, 2 pumps Peppermint Syrup, 2 pumps White Chocolate Mocha Sauce, whip cream and chocolate curls. I got mines without whip cream for this one as well. Its a refreshing drink and taste a little bit lighter than the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino.
Venti size is also a better deal here at $5.95 for 709ml vs $5.65 Grande size for 473ml.
Chimichurri Chicken Sandwich ($7.45)
Starbucks Sandwiches are usually a little more pricy compared to other fast food restaurants like Tim Hortons. I got the Starbucks Chimichurri Chicken Sandwich and got it heated up/toasted. They are usually located at the cooler area so you can have it cold as well. However, I prefer to eat sandwiches that are hot. This sandwich contains roasted chicken, chimichurri sauce, baby spinach, Havarti cheese, rep pepper relish all on a rustic stone-back schiacciata bun.
Here’s a look at fillings inside the bread. I love hot melted cheese as it really creates a nice flavour on a heated toasted bun. This was a great lunch.
I think I had too much Frappuccino today as two Grande size is still a lot (473ml x 2 = 946ml). Its more than a Venti (709ml). However, it was nice to try two different flavours. This was a tasty lunch and I really enjoyed the sandwich.
