Sushi & Roll is a full service dine-in and takeout restaurant. However, during COVID Coronavirus Pandemic times, they are no longer offering dine-in service. You can only order takeout. If you order takeout directly from them (i.e not ordering from Food Delivery Apps), they give you 10% off. I ordered the Ebi Mayo Appetizer, Smoked Salmon Roll (with Tempura Yam) and Dynamite Roll through calling them on the phone.
Ebi Mayo Appetizer – $4.95 (after discount $4.45)
The Ebi Mayo consists of 6 deep fried small shrimps with the shell of the tail attached. There are some crisps and green onions as well. They put spicy mayo on top. Flavours are pretty good here but the shrimps are small and there’s shells at the tails.
Smoked Salmon Roll (Yam Version) – $5.75 (after discount $5.2) & Dynamite Roll – $5.5 (after discount $4.95)
You get 6 large pieces of each roll. On the side, there is wasabi, ginger and soya sauce.
Here is a closer look at the fillings and ingredients of the rolls. The Smoked Salmon Roll (Yam Version) consists of imitation crab meat, sweet yellow potatoe tempura yam, cucumber and tobiko. Smoked salmon is placed on top of the sushi roll. The Dynamite Roll includes two deep fried tempura shrimp, avocado, cucumber and sweet yellow potato tempura yam. Tobiko is sprinkled on top. These sushi rolls taste great and really fresh.
Overall, it was a great meal. The bill came out to be $14.57 after the 10% off. With 5% GST tax, final bill came out to $15.30.
