Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Exterior & Interior Review

This is how the Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant look like on the outside. It is on the main road at Harrison Hot Springs.

I like how the dining area patio is enclosed with clear windows. During summer time, they probably open those up. We recommend eating at the patio to get good views of the village streets. It is not cold eating in there as its enclosed.

This is the view from the inside of the patio to the outside.

Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Lunch & Dinner Menu with Prices Review

This is the Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Lunch & Dinner Menu. Note that dinner items are usually a little bit more expensive compared to lunch items. The lunch items are pretty the same thing as the dinner items. As such, if you want to save some money, its best to come here during lunch hours. They have stuff like cold appetizers, hot appetizers, soup, specialties, sandwiches and schnitzel.

Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Pear Cider Alcohol Drink Review (Price: $7)

We got a Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Pear Cider alcohol drink. It has 5% alcohol. I like how they serve it in a can and you can then pour it out yourself. Ice cubes are included. Price for this is $7 plus alcohol tax surcharges. I like the pear flavours in the alcohol drink.

Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Schnitzel Bratwurst Sausage Review (Price: $26)

The Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Schnitzel Bratwurst Sausage price is $26 during lunch time. I believe during dinner time, this item sells for $35. It contains a generous portion of Schnitzel which is deep fried pork. It was pretty thin meat and taste pretty good. I like the peppercorn sauce on it. There’s some mustard sauce that you can put on the Schnitzel too. The Bratwurst Sausage which was not bad either. There are also some pan fried seasoned potatoes, red cabbage and some other general steamed vegetables. Overall, it was a decent size portion of food.

Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Pork Hock Bavarian Style Review (Price: $28)

The Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Restaurant Pork Hock Bavarian Style lunch price is $28. It goes for $35 during dinner time. This is their German Specialty item. I like how the pork hock is oven roasted to perfection with caraway seed and is not deep fried. The portion was huge. The skin on top was really crispy and is similar to Chinese BBQ Roast Pork. Underneath the skin, there’s some fat and a generous amount of tender meat. The seasoning was on point. There’s sauerkraut underneath the pork hock too. Sauerkraut is basically raw cabbage that’s been fermented. It taste delicious too. Other sides include pan fried seasoned potatoes, steamed vegetables and red cabbage.

The Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House German Pork Hock is definitely an food item that you got to try at Harrison Hot Springs. It taste so good.

Overall, the lunch meal at this German restaurant was awesome. The server and service was really professional too.
